So, I finally got some time to myself this weekend. I visited my God son, Shawn Boi, in BK. isn't he a little man?!! Been working on my costume some more & also went to a show at the Knitting Factory: Stetsasonic w/People Under the Stairs, Mike G & Sammie B of the Jungle Brothers, Zimbabwe Legit & YZ (surprise guests: Keith Murray & Chuck D) good times...

the Fancy Files

ok, so if you know me... you probably know Fancy. if you don't, you're missin' out, because she is the best dogg ever! the best dogg with the worst breath... until now! On Monday, she had some serious work done on her grill... Dr. Surgeon of ANC in New Rochelle extracted 16 teeth. I went to him because he specializes in dental work on geriatric dogs... However, I would not recommend him. He called me in the middle of the surgery to tell me "this is worse than I thought"... why is that necessary? get the job done! don't call me and make me freak out even more. I got to the office a little early and I heard his assistant remove the tube from Fancy's trachea. not a pleasant sound... and for the the $2000 I paid (charged me $700 more than his max estimate, during the $168 consultation) why can't HE do it himself? or does that cost extra?

Anyway, maybe you're thinking $2000 is too much to spend on a dog. I don't care what you think. I admit there was a huge procrastination on my part, because I was affraid of the effects of anesthesia on a 14yr old dog. But the issue was: Fancy was not feeling good & I had to make her get better. There's nothing I wouldn't do for her... and that includes maxing out my credit card

if you know me... you know I have a few jobs... if you know me well, you know that one of them is Dog walking . Georgia is my favorite client. She is too smart & too cute. double trouble... She and Fancy combine like Voltron with a gold chain on, and its over.

I didnt know too too much about the Beasties, my first exposure was Hello Nasty, and I've been a fan ever since... The book is very thorough, including interviews from: Dust Brothers (Mike Simpson & John King) Matt Dike, Adam Yauch, Tim Carr, Adam Horovitz, Micheal Diamond, Mario Caldato, Russell Simmons & Rick Rubin.

dope anecdotes include: MCA making out with Madonna. Dr DRE was their 1st DJ. Mike D's brother played Screech on Saved by the Bell. How the album got its name. Using the live room at the Record Plant in LA, as a game room, complete with ping pong table & projection TV. Various pranks. Details on drama w/Def Jam. Rumors. Religion.
